My name is Melissa, I was born in Hollywood, CA to Central American parents in the year 1985. As a Southern California native I have been inspired by the Latino community and its influence the culture has had on art, in film, and literature. Los Angeles is filled with creative minds that move me with their words, their music, and some with simply their presence. I feed off this creativity and hope to capture it with every release of my camera’s shutter.
The diversity L.A. has to offer has given me a hunger to travel the world to view different cultures first hand at the root. Nature has beauty to share, humans have stories to tell.
